Cringe story time.

One afternoon. Sun shining, wind breezing, earphones in and looking hella good. I strut back to my internship after my lunch break.

I was feeling happy and vibrant, thinking to myself; this day is really going great... Or so I thought. Then it happened.

"What are you listening to?" The security guard asks.

" Urrm..I...I..." I stutter.

*Is she stupid* I imagine him thinking.

"T-Pain..." I quickly mutter.

T-Pain. I said,T- freaking Pain.

Whenever someone asks me what music I like, I say 'R & B'. Which is not a lie. I like all types of music. But if I was to be honest. At the top of my playlists are mostly pop songs.

Whilst most of y'all grew up listening to Ashanti and Ja Rule. I was all about Xtina and Britney...all the way.

Does that mean my so called 'Black Card' is revoked?

* Covers eyes*

I know I shouldn't care but when this black security guard asked me this. I just couldn't help but feel ashamed. I kept thinking no, I do not want to go down this way. Not today Jesus. So I told a white lie.

So yeah. T Pain.

That was a good enough answer right?. He is modern and cool enough?

Obviously by now, you have figured out it wasn't T-Pain.

I can't quite remember who it was exactly but it was somewhere in the library of Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff or Selena Gomez....

My fellow daydreamers will know Pop songs are the BEST to daydream to. I'm sorry but that's a fact.

Admit it these Disney Stars do release some amazing tunes. I will probably know more of their songs than any Rihanna or Drake song. Quiz me any day.
