What do you do when you currently have no money and you are very bored? Go play dress up in some of your favorite shops of course.
I took a little trip to New Look & Primark and tried on as many outfits as I could, experimenting with different styles.
If you remember in my last fashion post, I said that I didn't have a particular style and that I was in DESPERATE need of updating my wardrobe.
Well, since my current finances just won't allow me to do that just yet, I thought maybe I could use my time to do some 'research' and see which clothes suit me best.
Check out my different experimental looks below and let me know what you think!
Everything is from NEW LOOK- except the trainers. I opted to add the checkered shirt as I see that Khloe K always does and it looks lush. I wasn't really sure about that the whole dungaree style would suit me but
I really like how casual and yet stylish it looks.
I think this style definitely goes with my personality. It's got that young at heart, free spirit, tomboy but yet girly vibe. Do I think too much of myself?.... maybe. I give this look a good 8/10. What do you think?

And now for the next look. We are still in New Look. For this look I decided to switch it up. I wanted to go for a more dressed up vibe so I picked up this matching top and skirt. I have never really worn matching sets nor this color before.

I don't even own green. (I can hear all you color experts out there crying) I am sure there is a more appropriate name, but I am just going to keep it simple for fellow amateurs out there.
Anyway, I love this outfit for its figure hugging style, even though I am no where near my body goal, I feel like this dress still flatters my body a little bit.
Since I don't go on nights out anymore, I think that this dress would work for a dinner night with my girls, whether I will be able to move or breathe after that is another story.
I didn't want to look at the price tag on this because I knew it would just break my heart, but I couldn't resist taking a little peek and I do believe it was in the twenties price range (each), so not too bad...I guess.
If that's way out of your price range then I would suggest just getting the skirt and finding a cheap top to go with this.

And finally we are in PRIMARK. This dress was just £13. Absolute bargain. They did have another orange/peach version but there wasn't any in my size. Typical.
This is something I would definitely go for. It works for so many occasions. Again as you can see I have wore it with my trainers but I could also wear this with some nice heels, like the ones I wore in New Look.

I am not even sure what you call this. A jumpsuit?. I have seen so many people wearing these and they look SO good. Unfortunately I just don't feel like it really works on me.

Thanks for playing dress up with me. Don't forget to let me know some of your style suggestions for me to try next! Comment below!
P.S I decided to take a picture in-front of this door somewhere in town thinking it would look all vintagey but I guess it just looks dirty...
